Go Saints!

Since the Cowboys didn't make it to the Super Bowl this year we decided to root for the Saints. Jason made a great dinner (lamb shank strognoff with turnips) and I made dessert (bread pudding with banana caramel sauce). We had my dad and our friends Joe and Sarah over to join in the festivities.



We were all glad to see the Saints win and are sad to say goodbye to another year of football...already counting the days til September.

Poppy and Aspen had some time to read some book before the game started.



Aspen was happy to see the Saints doing well (although she was long to bed before they actually won)!
